The machining center is well-suited for applications such as mold and die making, machine construction, energy and power generation, automotive, aerospace, and general metal machining, and is capable of machining materials such as aluminum, steel and titanium. It is said to improve productivity, particularly on workpieces requiring deep pockets and drilled holes. Three models are available. The HBZ Trunnion 80 provides an 800-mm-diameter worktable with X-, Y- and Z-axis travels measuring 850 × 850 × 700 mm. Rapid traverse speeds range to 45 m/ min. The HBZ Trunnion 120 offers a 1,200-mmdiameter table with X-, Y- and Z-a xis travels measuring 1,270 × 1,110 × 900 mm. Travel speeds range to 60 m/min. The HBZ Trunnion 160 has a 1,600-mm-diameter table with X-, Y- and Z-axis travels measuring 1,670 × 1,350 × 1,110 mm, and rapid traverse rates ranging to 60 m/min.
