It is designed to enable the production of T-slots with a few clicks. Two types of feature recognition are included: T-slots, and pockets with bottom and T-slots. Another feature is 3D Optimized Roughing, a machining enhancement for roughing rest mate- rial. To further optimize stepover strategy, the user can adjust machin- ing parameters to the condition of the tool by calculating optimal width in relation to additional c h i p t h i c k n e s s a n d depth value, which is beneficial for tools with longer cutting lengths that can be controlled u s i n g a m a x i m u m stepover parameter. T h e s of t wa re a l s o includes HyperCAD-S Electrode, which was developed for CAM pro- grammers and is said to enable fast design of e l e c t r o d e s w i t h o u t re quir ing s p e cia lize d design skills. The pro- g ra m m e r s e l e c ts th e faces on the workpiece, and the software creates a collision-free electrode with the necessary sur- faces from the model, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
