MODERN EQUIPMENT REVIEW Spotlight: Grinding
setup flexibility, dressing and grinding.
Dressing of the grinding and regulating wheels
occurs via four CNC a xes in the center of the
workpiece plane. The machine has a thermally
stable, vibration-damping Granitan bed, which
enables applications ranging from in-feed grind-
ing in single or multiple production to through-feed
and oscillation grinding.
The machine's full enclosure complies with
environmental standards, allowing for the use of
dif ferent cooling media, such as emulsion or
grinding oil. The wide-opening sliding doors
provide user-friendly access to the grinding center,
simplifying machine setups.
