LINEAR WAY VMCS PROVIDE
STABLE, PRECISE MACHINING
Hannsa announces its Linear Way series of verti-
cal machining centers designed to be compact
in size and competitively priced while enabling
precise, high-speed machining. The Linear Way
series is available with two or four slideways and
in sizes from 520 to 2,090 mm. The column is
designed to be stable and rigid. The VMCs come
with an automatic pallet changer for mass-pro-
duction lines and other standard accessories
such as a fully enclosed splash guard, spindle air
curtain, spindle oil cooler and spindle spray ring.
They also have an automatic toolchanger with a
storage capacity of 24 tools.

PRODUCTIVITY OF SINGLE-, TWIN-
SPINDLE MACHINING CENTERS
Chiron's single and twin-spindle FZ08 FX and
DZ08 FX compact milling centers are now equipped
with the company's dynamic precision package,
which was presented at IMTS last year on the
FZ08 MT machine model. According to the com-
pany, the new DZ08 FX Precision+ and the FZ08
FX Precision+ are as much as 50 percent more
productive than the previous models, thanks to
a new drive concept.
