MMS AUGUST 2018 288 JEDD COLE | EDITOR | IMTS 2018 Miscellaneous Equipment ON DISPLAY Telescopic Slides Bear Loads Ranging to 700 Lbs The GN 1400 series of steel and stainless steel tele- scopic slides from J.W. Winco Inc. are Restriction of Haz- ardous Substance (RoHS)-compliant and available with full, partial and double-sided full extensions. The slides can accommodate loads between 50 and 700 lbs (220 and 3,100 N) per pair. Thirteen variations, which feature telescopic rails made of rolled sheet metal, are suitable for a number of different applications. The slides can extend from 250 to 1,500 mm (9.84" to 59.06") and are made of two, three or four inter- connected slides. Optional slide features include latches and damping systems. The zinc-plated steel slide profile fea- tures a blue passivated finish. The bearings are steel and hardened, while the ball-cage outer slide is either steel with a zinc-plated finish or plastic with a steel, zinc-plated inner slide. The rubber stops on select versions are plastic/elastomer, while the self-retracting mechanism is stainless steel and plastic. The slides function in tempera- tures ranging from -4°F to 212°F (-20°C to 100°C). | J.W. The indicators increase productivity and minimize workforce errors by providing personnel guidance in a variety of applications: pick-to-light sys- tems, part placement, part positions, format-change guidance and others. They are intended to increase flexibility, speed and efficiency of human operators. The indicators are capable of segment indication (as many as six), continuously variable level indication and run/wait indication. Machine mounting enables process information to be displayed directly in the operator's line of sight. Expansion mode enables two indicators to be connected to one IO-Link port. The indicators are available in a range of colors, and their shape enables direction indication. They operate in one, two, three or six segments, and their level mode can display multiple colors for low and high values. Run/wait mode can indicate stoppages and slowdowns. | Balluff Inc. | East, Level 3, Booth 134062
