The company's system of modular fixturing for machining is said to reduce the time it takes a machinist to set up a fixture in a CNC mill. With more than 250 standard modular pieces to choose from, custom fixtures can be built for any size or shape part (castings, forgings, weldments, plates) in minutes. The reusable tooling can be disassembled when a job is finished and then used to build new fixtures. Baseplates with precision-bushed and threaded holes are custom-designed to fit any vertical machining center bed or pallet. Loaner plates are available from stock during customization. Custom-sized modular tombstones, T brackets and grid plates are available for fixture bases for horizontal machining applications. The filter continuously regenerates its filter media with an economical cellulose pre-coat over 18" diameter dome shaped horizontal permanent elements. Typical applications include grinders, sharpening, lapping and honing machines to meet tight surface finishing tolerances. Primarily central system applications, this patented, automatic, continuous filter draws liquid through its permanent media STAR element. For extra-fine filtration,a feed of cellulose lines the elements surface creating a filter cake. Once the filter cake becomes dense enough to create a negative pressure, an automatic regeneration cycle initiates a backflow to remove the cake. A drag-out conveyor removes the solids.
