SOFTWARE ENABLES ROBOT CONTROL, PROGRAMMING USING PLC The MLX300 software option integrates Yaskawa robots and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) by enabling operators to control and program robots in a standard PLC programming environ- ment, eliminating the need to learn a specific robot programming language. All program execution is performed by the PLC, while the motion control is handled by the kinematic algorithms of the Yaskawa robot controller. Supported PLCs include CompactLogix, ControlLogix and GuardLogix. This unified controls approach simplifies safety Small to Tall Think 5S. Made in USA We sold one of our $800.00 Ball Bar Kits to a young man who was having problems with his C.M.M. One week later, he called to discuss the results. His C.M.M. had just been serviced and certified by the machines manufacturer at a cost of $700.00. The Ball Bar found that the "Z" axis of his C.M.M. was out of square with the "X" axis 0.009" (0.2286mm). The "Z" to "Y" and the "X" to "Y" Axii were perfectly square. After adjust- ing, to correct the "Z"-"X" error the entire machine was within 0.0003" (0.0076mm). He wondered if we had any suggestions on how he might improve this 0.0003 error. As this was an older, manual machine, we told him that we thought this might be an acceptable accuracy. A Ball Bar-Dumbell system provides certification to ANSI B 89.4.1 or VIM-VAR.
