The structure of the three-year program will allow apprentices to register with the state, complete o n -th e -j o b tr a i n i n g, a n d e a r n a n a s s o c i ate degree, with GACC Midwest providing expertise and certification along the away. The first Indus- t r y C o n s o r t i u m f o r A d v a n c e d Te c h n i c a l Training (ICATT) appren- ticeship in Wisconsin will focus on industrial maintenance. "At Hermle we under- sta nd how im p o r ta nt building the next gen- eration of skilled workers is, and it's why we put so much effort into our apprenticeship program i n G e r m a n y , " s a y s Manuel Merkt, Hermle's executive vice president of operations.
