Double-negative positioning pocket seats deliver enhanced cutting capability and significant gains in productivity, the company says. The R217/R220.28 performs face milling, slotting and contouring in ISO M and ISO S materials as well as in some difficult-to-machine ISO P materials, such as martensitic stainless steel. The cutter excels in Z-level- ing applications and is well suited for machining turbine blades for the aerospace and power generation segments. Milling Cutters Feature New Body Designs for Double-Sided Round Inserts The range includes diameters from 1.25" to 4.00" (32 to 100 mm) in normal and close-pitch versions.
